Bistro One, Bondi Junction

Bistro One
Easts Leagues Club
93-97 Spring St Bondi Junction

Calamari w/ parsley & lemon zest ($11.30), Grilled chicken burger w/ mixed leaves, tomato & aioli ($13.60)
The calamari was a big serving. I thought it was good value and nice serving size. I would have preferred it to be golden brown and crispy. I would have liked it left in the deep fryer for longer. However, it was fresh and tasty, nice chewy calamari. I love this stuff

The grilled chicken burger was awesome. I would have called it a sandwich really since it was on toasted turkish but it was fantastic. There was lots of chicken, lots of healthy salad and the aioli was perfect. This was one of the best burgers/sandwiches I've had in a long time. Fair price given the serving size was huge. I cut it in half and saved half for later.

This place also has daily lunch specials for $11.

On another occasion, I had the crispy skin salmon fillet with roasted new potatoes, sauteed green beans, roasted tomatoes, sauce vierge ($18). The salmon was tiny but good. Unlike the burger, this serving size was tiny. Would probably consider it an entree size. For people with big appetites, a main meal like this wouldn't cut it. Was good quality and tasty though.

Final Thoughts:
- Definitely worth a visit
- Good quality food at fair prices
