New Years Day. A lot of places were closed and I felt like some grilled meat and I stumbled upon this Turkish place in Bondi Junction.

Chargrill Plate ($24): Lamb, Chicken, Beef + Salad + Turkish Bread
Chargrill Plate ($24): 3 skewers (lamb, chicken, beef), selection of salads and Turkish bread.

When they asked me which salads I wanted, I wasn't sure which I wanted because none of the salads particularly appealed to me so I just politely asked for a tiny little bit of each. I figured it didn't hurt to try a little. Sure enough, I didn't eat much of the salad. I did try a little of each though. I also asked for lettuce and tomato but I did finish that :D

The beef would have been quite tasty had it been fresh. Unfortunately, since this was the first thing I tried on the plate, it turned me off the rest of the plate. I tried the chicken next and it was really quite good. The lamb was horrible there. It was basically like a lamb sausage but horribly extremely salty. The lightly grilled Turkish bread was fantastic though.

I think next time, I'm just going to stick to plain old kebabs from all Turkish restaurants.
