Melbourne Trip 15: Crown Casino Noodle Soups

Wonton Noodle Soup
I got lost in Crown Casino and somehow ended up at a casual looking Chinese restaurant (I don't recall the name). I took a brief glance at the menu and saw comfort food in the form of noodle soup. I went for the simple and satisfying wonton noodle soup. These are your typical Cantonese wontons - very large and filled with pork and prawn meat and your typical thin egg noodles in the broth.

Sho Noodle Bar
BBQ Pork Noodle Soup

This BBQ Pork (Cha siu) noodle soup was from Sho Noodle Bar which is located off the main gaming floor near the entrance. Open for most of the day, this is a great pit stop for some noodle soup. The BBQ pork was fantastic.

Roast Duck Noodle Soup
This roast duck noodle soup I ordered from the restaurant in the Teak Room.

All three noodle soups weren't bad, but noodle soup with Chinese BBQ and dumplings is generally win and hard to go wrong. The toppings were relatively generous, the broth satisfying. Soupy and hearty - definitely a warm fuzzy feeling that runs through your entire body after consumption.
